Privacy Policy
Effective October 4, 2026
This policy explains what information Laneplan (“we”, “us”) collects when you use laneplans.com and the Laneplan app (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, GitHub, LinkedIn or company single sign-on, the basic profile those services share (name, email, profile picture). We never receive your password for those services.
- Workspace content — schedules, tasks, lanes, dates, dependencies, notes, revisions and the change log you and your teammates create.
- Billing information — if you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, seat count, billing status and the last four digits of your card; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type and basic request logs our hosting providers record to keep the Service running and secure.
We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell your personal information.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: sign you in, store and sync your schedules, and let workspace members collaborate.
- To send service emails such as sign-in links, password resets, invitations and billing receipts.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To answer your support requests.
Who can see your workspace content
Only members of your workspace, according to the roles the workspace owner or admins assign (owner, admin, editor, viewer). Each workspace is isolated from every other workspace at the database level. We access workspace content only when needed to operate the Service, to respond to a support request you make, or when required by law.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the Service. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Vercel — website hosting
- Stripe — payments and billing
- Cloudflare — domain and email routing
- Google, GitHub, LinkedIn — only if you choose to sign in with them
Data is stored in the United States.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. Deleting a workspace permanently deletes its schedules, revisions and change log. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep billing records for legal or tax purposes. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your name in the app and export your schedules (CSV or JSON) at any time. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may have additional rights; we will honor them. Email [email protected].
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage only to keep you signed in and remember display preferences (such as zoom level or sort order). We do not use advertising cookies.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access between workspaces is blocked by database-level security rules. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Children
The Service is for business use and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify account owners by email or in the app.
